Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Cheat Codes', producer Danger Mouse constructs a cinematic and sample-heavy soundscape, drawing from moody psychedelic, soul, and prog records to create a dusty, atmospheric backdrop. Black Thought delivers intricate, dense rhymes with surgical precision, offering razor-sharp social commentary and masterful braggadocio that complements the richly layered production. The critically acclaimed collaboration stands as a showcase for the veteran artists, balancing Danger Mouse's bluesy, abstract beats with Black Thought's technically sharp and passionate lyricism.
