Persian Carpets

On 'Persian Carpets', their second duo album, Daniel O'Sullivan (upright piano) and Richard Youngs (zither) present two side-long movements of acoustic minimalism. The work moves away from conventional song structures to explore harmonic resonance through patient interplay, with circling phrases and subtle rhythmic shifts building from spacious, quiet overtones into dense, immersive currents of sound.
