Album Notes & Community Reviews
The French collective constructs a deeply mournful, highly cinematic atmosphere for their sophomore full-length recording. 'De lumi猫re et d'obscurit茅' utilizes sweeping, sorrowful violin and cello arrangements paired with archaic keyboard textures to frame Marquise Ermia's ethereal, operatic soprano vocals. The album stands as a pristine, emotionally heavy cornerstone of the European neoclassical darkwave movement.
