Album Notes & Community Reviews

The French ensemble crafts an overwhelmingly sorrowful and profoundly cinematic iteration of neoclassical darkwave. Dominated by funereal tempos, sweeping orchestral keyboards, and dramatic, operatic vocal deliveries, the compositions consistently evoke a highly romanticized atmosphere of tragic loss and mourning. The album established them as masters of the most grandiose, profoundly melancholic extremes of the European gothic underground.
