Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a five-piece following the departure of founding guitarist Martin Henriksson, the Swedish melodic death metal pioneers deliver an incredibly atmospheric eleventh studio album. The record relies on heavy, driving synthesizer melodies and Mikael Stanne's seamless oscillation between guttural roars and melancholic clean vocals. It was widely praised for successfully updating the foundational 'Gothenburg sound' with a sleek, gothic-tinged modern polish.
