Album Notes & Community Reviews

The influential Swedish pioneers delivered a notably darker and more somber iteration of their trademark melodic death metal sound on their ninth studio album. Heavily integrating bleak, gothic keyboard layers alongside intricate twin-guitar melodies, the release explores deeply introspective themes of existential dread and emotional emptiness.
