Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally recorded in 2012 but shelved due to lingering hopes of a System of a Down reunion, 'Dictator' acts as a highly political, heavily melodic alternative metal record[cite: 4]. The album relies entirely on Malakian's frantic guitar work and sarcastic, quirky vocal delivery to vehemently protest war, historical atrocities, and contemporary political corruption[cite: 4].
