Album Notes & Community Reviews
Their first studio album for Arista Records heavily leaned into the heavily synthesized, drum-machine-driven production style dominant in late-eighties pop. The record yielded the massive hit 'Everything Your Heart Desires', showcasing their enduring knack for slick, blue-eyed pop soul melodies. While achieving multi-platinum success, the dense production briefly overshadowed the organic R&B roots of the iconic duo[cite: 1].
