Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Todd Rundgren and heavily backed by his progressive rock outfit Utopia, this experimental detour finds the pop-soul duo temporarily abandoning their signature Philadelphia sound. Characterized by dense, synthesizer-heavy arrangements and cynical, politically-tinged lyrical themes, it alienated their label but has since attained a dedicated cult following.
