Album Notes & Community Reviews

As a foundational release for the Neue Deutsche Todeskunst (New German Death Art) movement, 'Die Propheten' established Das Ich's highly theatrical and morbid aesthetic. The album combines symphonic darkwave with martial, industrial-adjacent percussion and Bruno Kramm's ominous classical orchestrations, providing a grim backdrop for Stefan Ackermann's tormented vocal delivery.
