Album Notes & Community Reviews

During a brief hiatus from Soft Cell, the influential British keyboardist released his sole solo album of the 1980s. 'In Strict Tempo' features a darker, slightly more abrasive approach to analog synth-pop, heavily incorporating guest vocalists like Genesis P-Orridge and Gavin Friday. The record leans toward cold, industrial-adjacent soundscapes while retaining his undeniable ear for electronic melody.
