Album Notes & Community Reviews
Captured during the legendary BYG Actuel sessions in Paris, the avant-garde pianist leads a massive ensemble through incredibly dense and chaotic improvisational structures. The recording is relentlessly aggressive, driven by heavily clustered chords and an unrelenting storm of horns, standing as a ferocious monument to late-1960s free jazz extremism.
