Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed trumpeter leads a highly unusual, drumless acoustic quartet featuring violin, accordion, and acoustic bass through a captivating suite of chamber jazz. The intricate, Eastern European-tinged compositions gracefully balance sophisticated classical counterpoint with deeply emotive, lyrical jazz improvisation.
