Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced in the immediate aftermath of the Rockpile dissolution, this lively solo effort finds the Welsh rocker delivering another masterclass in retro-leaning pub rock. 'D.E. 7th' perfectly balances driving, Chuck Berry-inspired guitar licks with razor-sharp pop sensibilities. It successfully maintained his reputation as a premier revivalist of classic 1950s and 60s rock and roll forms.
