Album Notes & Community Reviews

Preceding the formation of the influential band that would bear the same name, the Welsh studio wizard's solo debut is a meticulous, high-energy homage to classic 1950s rock and roll. Demonstrating his profound mastery of the recording studio, the artist heavily overdubbed instruments and vocals to lovingly recreate the slap-back echo and driving rhythms of early Sun Records and Chuck Berry.
