Album Notes & Community Reviews

A foundational document of the Greenwich Village folk revival, 'Volume 2' captures 'The Mayor of MacDougal Street' interpreting traditional blues and folk standards. Dave Van Ronk's gravelly vocal delivery and highly sophisticated fingerpicking guitar arrangements heavily influenced a young Bob Dylan and shaped the urban folk sound.
