Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recording primarily with an acoustic guitar and a twelve-string, Dave Van Ronk documents his ragtime and country-blues fingerpicking techniques. The sparse studio setting emphasizes the stark contrast between his precise guitar work and his gravelly, abrasive vocal delivery.
