Album Notes & Community Reviews

Inspired by the visionary poetry of William Blake, producer and arranger David Axelrod constructed an overwhelmingly brilliant instrumental concept album. 'Song of Innocence' is remarkably lush and fiercely uplifting, fusing beautifully orchestral, sweeping baroque-pop arrangements with intensely rhythmic jazz-funk and wonderfully warm psychedelic rock grooves.
