The classically trained composer and frequent Mike Oldfield collaborator interprets Homer's epic poem through an entirely synthesized, orchestral framework. Devoid of traditional rock instrumentation, the conceptual album relies heavily on early polyphonic synthesizers and wordless choirs to generate its dramatic, avant-garde atmosphere.
