'David Bowie Narrates Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf' pairs the Philadelphia Orchestra under Eugene Ormandy, recorded in Philadelphia in October 1975, with narration Bowie taped in New York in December 1977 after promoting 'Heroes'. The original LP, pressed on green vinyl, backed the Prokofiev with Britten's 'The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra', reached number 136 on the Billboard 200 and was Grammy-nominated for Best Recording for Children.
