Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally intended as a musical adaptation of George Orwell's '1984', David Bowie's 'Diamond Dogs' is a remarkably dark, wildly apocalyptic glam rock opera. Functioning as the final gasp of his Ziggy Stardust era, the album balances fiercely rebellious, intensely anthemic guitar rock with deeply futuristic, wonderfully melodic science-fiction dystopia.
