Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut studio album by the Welsh singer-songwriter established his early acoustic-driven sound, heavily focusing on raw guitar arrangements and his distinct, emotive vocal delivery. Preceding his mainstream breakthrough, the record is characterized by its urgent, folk-rock instrumentation and earnest lyricism regarding social and personal anxieties at the close of the 20th century.
