Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his exit from the highly influential post-rock duo Gastr del Sol, the Chicago musician delivers a delicate, acoustic-driven solo effort. 'The Thicket' features remarkably intricate guitar fingerpicking and subtle horn arrangements, constructing a distinctly avant-garde, almost pastoral vision of modern Americana.
