Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in a resonant French abbey, this mesmerizing vocal project adapts traditional Mongolian and Tibetan overtone singing for a Western choir. The resulting music consists of sustained, deeply hypnotic a cappella drones where the singers manipulate natural harmonics to create ethereal, shimmering overtones above a fundamental pitch. It is widely considered a transcendent masterpiece of modern acoustic minimalism.
