Album Notes & Community Reviews

Releasing his second and final album for a major label, the revered tenor saxophonist offered a remarkably accessible, melodic take on his typically fiery free jazz approach. Featuring Matthew Shipp on piano and the intricate drumming of Guillermo E. Brown, the quartet navigates complex, spiritual compositions with profound emotional weight.
