Into the Lair of the Sun God

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived entirely as a unified, nine-part conceptual suite, Chris Black's heavy metal project delivers a thrilling narrative concerning a doomed assassin hunting the sun. The album completely shuns modern extreme metal trends, joyously embracing the galloping basslines, triumphant twin-guitar harmonies, and clean, commanding vocals of classic NWOBHM. It stands as a masterful, highly poetic revitalization of traditional heavy metal songcraft.
