Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by the massive, Grammy-winning crossover hit 'Let It Whip', the Cleveland R&B ensemble delivered a definitive masterpiece of early 80s electro-funk. The album effectively bridges the gap between heavily synthesized, dancefloor-ready boogie grooves and the lush, romantic smooth soul dominating urban contemporary radio. It solidified their status as premier hitmakers for the legendary Motown imprint.
