Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fiercely rejecting the "D.A.I.S.Y. Age" hippie labels placed upon them, 'De La Soul Is Dead' is a dark, highly sarcastic, and satirical concept album. The trio delivers humorous, deeply conscious hip-hop over Prince Paul's incredibly eclectic, sample-dense production to critique the changing landscape of rap culture.
