Album Notes & Community Reviews

Shifting away from their early gothic rock origins, the band's debut album fully embraces the pulsating rhythms of Hi-NRG and synth-pop. Helmed by Pete Burns' flamboyant, provocative vocal presence, 'Sophisticated Boom Boom' offers highly energetic and flamboyant dance floor anthems. It successfully introduced their aggressive, mechanical dance sound to the UK charts prior to their massive international breakthrough.
