Album Notes & Community Reviews
The New Zealand avant-garde artist transitions fully into stark, electroacoustic minimalism on this release for the Mille Plateaux label. Roberts meticulously deconstructs the sounds of acoustic instruments, particularly the guitar, manipulating them into cold, mechanical drones and highly repetitive digital fragments.
