D.E.S.I.R.E.

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'D.E.S.I.R.E.私が若い頃' finds the prolific vaporwave collective heavily leaning into the soothing yet unsettling textures of chopped and screwed New Age music and vintage R&B. The album relies on aggressive phaser effects and sluggish tempos to simulate a degraded, hypnagogic dream state. It is a highly celebrated early release in their catalog, establishing their signature style of emotionally charged plunderphonics.
