I'll Try Living Like This

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'I'll Try Living Like This' is a landmark vaporwave album constructed from heavily manipulated, glitch-heavy samples of K-pop, video game soundtracks, and other contemporary music. The production creates a disorienting yet emotionally resonant and cinematic soundscape, abandoning lo-fi aesthetics for a sharper, more chaotic digital approach that contrasts feelings of melancholy and dread with moments of pop catharsis. Through its complex, collaged structure, the work is recognized for advancing the genre beyond its initial satirical focus into more compositionally ambitious and emotionally direct territory.
