Album Notes & Community Reviews
Shifting their global sampling focus heavily toward Eastern Europe, the French electronic duo Deep Forest achieved massive international success with 'Boheme'. The album brilliantly layers traditional Hungarian and Romani folk vocals over lush, highly accessible downtempo and trance-inflected dance beats. The groundbreaking crossover project ultimately earned them the Grammy Award for Best World Music Album.
