Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran American producer Rod Modell returns to the iconic Soma label to deliver a quintessential masterclass in the dub techno genre he helped pioneer. The tracking relies on a foundation of muffled, pulsating four-to-the-floor kick drums submerged beneath endless, echoing synthesizer chords and static hiss. The album creates a dense, aquatic, and profoundly hypnotic late-night listening environment.
