Rod Modell continues to refine his mastery of subterranean frequencies and tape-hiss aesthetics on 'Vantage Isle'. The album functions as a single, sprawling meditation broken into various textural phases, utilizing massive sub-bass and endless, decaying echoes to create a profoundly deep, aquatic listening experience.
