Album Notes & Community Reviews

John McCauley's debut under the Deer Tick moniker establishes his ragged, alcohol-soaked vocal delivery over stripped-down acoustic arrangements. 'War Elephant' channels the unruly spirit of early country and Delta blues, offering a surprisingly mature and raspy perspective from the young Rhode Island songwriter.
