Album Notes & Community Reviews
Meticulously engineered by Mutt Lange over three grueling years, 'Hysteria' is a gleaming monument of painstakingly layered pop-metal. The album utilizes dense, synthesized guitar textures and massive vocal harmonies to craft a succession of radio-conquering, melodic hard rock anthems. It fundamentally redefined the commercial parameters of heavy metal, transforming the genre into slick, stadium-ready pop.
