Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran German outfit continues to blur the lines between grotesque brutality and dizzying musicianship. The record is packed with jazz-inspired, polyrhythmic drum performances and overwhelmingly complex time-signature shifts, yet never loses its fundamentally crushing death metal weight. With new vocalist Josh Welshman joining the fold, it represents a remarkable peak in modern technical brutality.
