Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the hyper-creative New York downtown scene, the ensemble delivered a blistering fusion of frantic jazz virtuosity and aggressive punk energy. 'Thermonuclear Sweat' captures the band's renowned live intensity, marrying complex horn arrangements to heavy, syncopated funk-rock grooves. The record perfectly encapsulates the frenetic, nocturnal spirit of the city's early 80s mutant disco underground.
