Album Notes & Community Reviews

In an unexpected pivot from his reverb-drenched pop-rock anthems, Del Shannon pays heartfelt tribute to the legendary country songwriter. The album applies his distinctive, slightly nasal vocal delivery and dramatic falsetto to a collection of classic Hank Williams compositions. It serves as a fascinating stylistic detour that underscores the profound influence of traditional country music on early rock and roll pioneers.
