Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length from the secretive Swedish vocalist and producer Irmina Lück was released on the esteemed Kranky label. The tracking utilizes heavily reverberated, wordless vocal incantations layered over slow, glacial dark ambient synthesizer washes and subtle, minimal percussion. The resulting atmosphere evokes a deeply gothic, almost medieval melancholy deeply rooted in the classic 1980s 4AD Records ethereal sound.
