Led by the eternally cynical Lawrence Hayward, the group's sophomore effort serves as a viciously satirical critique of 1990s lad culture and the music industry. The album contrasts incredibly shiny, 1970s glam-rock and synthpop pastiches with his deadpan, aggressively provocative lyricism.
