Album Notes & Community Reviews

As an incredibly early pioneer of plunderphonics and turntable manipulation, Dennis Duck's 'Goes Disco' utilizes rudimentary looping techniques to aggressively deconstruct popular music. Recorded in association with the eccentric Los Angeles Free Music Society (LAFMS), the project hilariously subverts the prevailing dance trends of the decade through chaotic sound collage. It remains a fascinating avant-garde artifact of DIY conceptualism.
