Album Notes & Community Reviews

Helmed by producer Creed Taylor, the Brazilian arranger scored a massive, unexpected international crossover hit with his funky, electric-piano-driven adaptation of Strauss's 'Also Sprach Zarathustra'. The lush, orchestral jazz-funk perfectly epitomized the slick, highly polished sound that defined the CTI label throughout the decade.
