Album Notes & Community Reviews

A staggeringly intimate solo acoustic performance, this album perfectly crystalizes Bailey's completely idiosyncratic approach to non-idiomatic improvisation. Avoiding standard jazz scales or rhythmic structures, the guitar is treated percussively and atonally, resulting in a stark, relentlessly unpredictable study of sound and resonance.
