Album Notes & Community Reviews

In a startling departure from his notoriously abstract, anti-melodic career, the pioneering avant-garde guitarist tackles a collection of classic jazz standards. Released on John Zorn's Tzadik label, Bailey's fractured, atonal fingerpicking completely deconstructs familiar melodies into deeply melancholic acoustic sketches.
