Album Notes & Community Reviews
The London post-punk quartet further refines their gloomy, highly melodic indie rock sound on their fourth full-length release. 'Maximum Sorrow!' incorporates atmospheric dream pop textures and lush chorus-pedal guitars, perfectly highlighting Jo Bevan's soaring, emotionally charged vocal performances. The album serves as a masterfully constructed, distinctly British exploration of intense emotional drama and driving rhythm.
