Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as a pivotal release in the early development of the deathcore genre, the Montreal sextet's sophomore album ruthlessly blends extreme metal technicality with hardcore punk breakdowns. The dual-vocalist attack of Alexandre Erian and Steve Marois alternates between piercing shrieks and guttural pig squeals, setting a heavily imitated vocal standard for the scene.
