Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Dans Boogie' continues Destroyer's exploration of sophisti-pop, built upon a foundation of crisp, dance-infused rhythms, atmospheric synth textures, and intricately layered production. Over these polished arrangements, Dan Bejar delivers his characteristically cryptic, stream-of-consciousness lyrics with a laconic, half-spoken vocal style. The album creates a signature tension by juxtaposing its accessible, groove-oriented soundscapes with themes of modern ennui and poetic abstraction.
