Album Notes & Community Reviews
Created by Brendon Small as the musical component to the animated series 'Metalocalypse', the fictional band's second album delivers genuinely formidable melodic death metal. Backed by legendary drummer Gene Hoglan, the virtuosic, highly aggressive riffing perfectly accompanies the darkly satirical, hyper-violent lyricism. The record achieved the highest-ever Billboard chart debut for a death metal album at the time of its release.
